Tomorrow, it begins. The actual “tour” part of this tour. Tomorrow, we drive to Ottawa!
…well, actually we drive to Thunder Bay. Then the next day, we drive to Sudbury. Then, on Friday, we drive to OTTAWA!!
(It’s a 30 hour drive otherwise.)
But yeah, I’m super excited. Just finished the majority of my packing, and I should probably be going to bed soon. Though, I doubt I’ll get much sleep. I’m a little wired.
Today, we had media training…which was actually really informative and useful. Basically, we went through a series of exercises and interview situations (should we have to do some sort of media interviews for the show) and then we were taped being interviewed and had to watch and critique ourselves. And as awkward as it is to watch yourself…it was super helpful. I wish I had gone through a seminar like that earlier in life. I might have pulled off some better TV interviews!
But yeah, it was a really productive morning, then we ran some stuff in the afternoon, then I ran around the city finishing all the errands I had to do and now I am in bed, showered, packed (nearly) and ready to go!
Ottawa…here I come.
